HOW MUCH DOES A REPAIR COST? Starting price for a repair is $195. That price normally covers most repairs. Though there are times that a repair will cost more. Which is why we always do a diagnostic/ inspection on all repair orders, and provide a quote for you to approve, before doing any work. CAN I SEND MY BOARD FROM OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL U.S.? As of right now, we are only accepting repairs from customers located in the continental U.S. I NEED HOT TUB REPAIR. IS THIS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO? If you are located in the Los Angeles, California area; visit DB Spa Repair & Service website by Clicking here What is the difference between a Diagnostic/ Inspection and a Repair Attempt? -Diagnostic/ inspection: We are able to power on the item to see how it behaves. We visually look at the items, sometimes remove components off the item to better see any damage on the item itself. No repairs are done during a diagnostic/inspection. -Repair Attempt: Due to existing damage on the item itself, there is no way to power on the unit to see how it behaves. So, repairs are needed to be performed first before the item can be powered on for diagnostic/ inspection. Because of this, time, labor parts, materials and supplies are used just to get the item into a state where it can be powered on. HOW LONG DOES A REPAIR TAKE? Repairs can take 2-6 weeks to complete if the parts and supplies are in stock. Now this is only a estimate on how long it takes to get repairs completed. Of course if demand is high it might take a little longer. We normally let you know when repairs will be completed. DOES THE REPAIR COMES WITH A WARRANTY? Yes, we offer a 60 day labor and parts for the work we performed only. If a repair fails we will fix it. If the repair cannot be fixed under warranty, we will refund you the full amount for the repair minus $60. I LOST MY REPAIR NUMBER. WHAT CAN I DO? If you lost your repair number, simply contact us by the using the same information you have provided when you filled out the repair order form. Make sure to use the same e-mail address and full name. Also, any e-mail we have sent to you regarding repairs, will contain your repair number (RN). CAN ALL CIRCUIT BOARDS BE REPAIRED? Not all circuit board can be repaired. There are times when a board is just badly damaged that the cost of repair will be just as much as new board, or programming on the main chip map be bad; nothing can be done about it. If a board cannot be repaired we will let you know, the diagnostic/inspection fee will be due, and shipping will need to be paid if you want the board back. CAN GUIDE ME ON HOW TO PULL OUT MY BOARD? Unfortunately, we cannot provide any type of support regarding pulling out your board or reinstalling your board. Though, with that said. Here are some quick tips. Take pictures of your board installed before disconnecting anything. Take tons of pictures of all the wires and where they connect on the board. Take pictures from multiple angles. Use color markers, color tape, zip ties/ color zip ties and take pictures to help show you show what wire is what. Again, these are only tips. You are responsible on how you pull out your board and reinstall it. Call a professional if you are not sure on to pull out or reinstall your board.
